Udaipur, a city in Rajasthan is known for its Majestic Palaces, forts and of course, the lakes. Udaipur is popularly called the City Of Lakes as it holds a lot of different lakes on it. You might be waiting to know about the places to see in Udaipur. Right? Wait…there’s something more.
If you are a fan of Bollywood and has watched Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani, you might’ve already seen Udaipur then. The place where Kalki Koechlin gets married is the Oberoi Udaivilas and is a very popular destination among the tourists because of its mind-blowing architecture and beautifully designed Gardens.
Udaipur is the only city in Rajasthan that’ll make you fall in love with the Rajasthani Culture.
How to Reach Udaipur?
By Air : Maharana Pratap Airport(22kms from the city) is well-connected to all Metro Cities like Delhi, Mumbai etc.
By Train : Udaipur Railway station is well-connected to almost all the states but the best choice would be Delhi-Udaipur or Jaipur-Udaipur trains.
By Road: One of the major tourists hub of Rajasthan, Udaipur is well-connected to all the cities with a wide road network.

1. Fall in love with the Sun..
Get a boat ride from the corner of the Lake Pichola and let them guide you. Lake Pichola is an artificial lake created in the year 1362 AD. It holds four islands namely Jag Mandir, Jag Niwas, Mohan Mandir and Arsi Vilas.
The boat will take you to the sunset point where you can see the most beautiful sunset of your entire life as well as see the City Palace Light up with all its glory.
If you ask us to rate that view, we’d give it a 10 on 10 because it is just so beautiful that it will leave you spellbound. You won’t have words to say to the person next to you. You’ll just keep watching.

2. The Majestic City Palace : One of the best places to see in Udaipur.
The City palace complex took over 400 years to complete with contributions from a lot of Mewar kings during this time. The construction began in 1553 on the orders of Maharana Udai Singh.
Your trip to Udaipur is totally incomplete if you haven’t visited this palace. This palace looks amazing while the sun goes down as mentioned above but even when the sun is up, you can see this Golden Palace shining like a Bright Sun in a summer afternoon. If seen from a height, City palace looks like a Golden box holding the history of Rajasthan. This is one of the best places to see in Udaipur.

How to Reach: It is adjacent to the City Palace so you don’t need any kinds of transport other than yourself.
